Preschool Program

For children ages 4 or 5 that are not ready to learn to read we have a preschool program which teaches the child to get ready to learn to read. After successfully completing the program, the child is ready to learn to read. The program is called "Preschool with Ace and Christy."

The program has four quarterly teachers' manuals with detailed day to day lesson plans and tools. "Preschool with Ace and Christy" builds concepts and skills needed to equip the child to be ready to read while he is learning social skills, the wonders of God's world, and the reality of God's love.

In the program, there are 60 paces or units of work full color picture stories and activities for academic work.

Kindergarten Program

For children 5 or 6 years of age that do not know how to read, we have a learning to read program. The program is called "The ABC's of ACE" learning to read program. The main focus in the kindergarten program is learning to read. The kindergarten students learn phonetic sounds: memory, visual, auditory, coordination and math skills, as well as Christian character.

There are four quarterly teachers' manuals with detailed day to day lesson plans and tools. Before starting the kindergarten program, the child must score and 80% on the reading readiness test. If the child scores less than 80% on the test, the child should first take the pre-school program.

For kindergarten, if the child is ready to learn to read, we recommend you take one letter or sound of the letter per week. If the child is older or mature they might take a letter or sound of the letter per day. After successfully completing the kindergarten program, the child is ready for the first grade material and is reading by the completion of kindergarten.

Be sure the child is not going too fast to really learn to read. Reading is the foundation for learning. The child must master the material before going on to the first grade.

Reading Program + Plus 1st Grade

If your child has not learned to read before entering the first grade, your child will need the ABC's Learn to Read Program plus the first grade. The cost of this program is $78.90 per month for 9 payments for one school year.
